I’m Shehani and here is a glimpse into my journey:

I was born in the USA, lived in Sri Lanka, and grew up in England from the age of 5. Raised in a creative household, I developed a passion for music, film and storytelling early on. 

As a teenager, I became fascinated by photography. After my school days, I enrolled in a 6-month arts program in Florida. This further sparked my interest in visual storytelling, leading me to travel and learn from experienced photographers and filmmakers. Returning to the UK, I pursued a Film degree at the University of Kent and also began freelancing as a photographer, videographer and editor.

After graduation, I ventured into London, taking on a role of a Content Creator. Eventually, I became a Creative Content Manager and Video Editor at award-winning Film and TV PR and Entertainment agencies.

After I began full-time freelancing, I decided to use my creative marketing expertise to also branch out into the Travel and Lifestyle industry. There's something exciting about promoting and educating viewers about locations, experiences and culture through my eyes. I am open to connecting and collaborating so feel free to reach out!
